Cake-like and Yummy!
Recipe from my friend Aleyda The Dish on Healthy, they have only six ingredients including fresh blueberries, dates, and coconut flour. The coconut flour makes them different from all the usual energy bites we make and gives them a really yummy cake-like quality.
The original recipe is gluten-free, nut-free and vegan. I opted for the add-ins and added in chia seeds, almond butter and an extra handful of blueberries for a little extra superfood kick. These make the perfect healthy snack or treat!
It also happens to be International Woman’s Day so what better than to share a recipe from a good friend who lives in Toronto? Instagram has made my universe smaller and introduced me to so many amazing women around the world so Happy International Woman’s Day and cheers to all of you!
