All treats this Halloween! My son has been asking me to make donut forever and these Pumpkin Donuts were a huge win!

I made them using The Really Great Food Company  Pumpkin Bread Mix and they couldn’t be easier or yummier!  Perfect texture and taste, they are loved by all, even those that don’t need to eat gluten-free.

Baked Pumpkin Donuts dipped in Cinnamon Sugar
 
The easiest and yummiest donuts ever! Made using The Really Great Food Company pumpkin bread mix.

Ingredients
Donuts:
  • 1 box The Really Great Food Company Pumpkin Bread Mix
  • 1 cup eggs or approximately 4 eggs
  • 1 cup pure pumpkin
  • ¼ cup water, milk or milk alternative (I used 2% milk)
  • ⅔ cup oil
Topping:
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted OR ½ Coconut Oil, Melted
  • Baking brush
Instructions
  1. To make the donuts:
  2. Preheat oven to 325
  3. Follow instructions on The Really Great Food Pumpkin Bread Mix box to make the mix.
  4. Instead of placing mix in baking pans, divide the batter among lightly greased donut pans, filling halfway.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Remove from oven. Let sit 5 minutes, then invert donut pan and let cool on a wire rack.
Top the donuts
  1. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  2. Use a baking brush and brush the donuts with either melted butter or melted coconut oil (both worked equally well and tasted the same), then dunk into the cinnamon sugar mixture coating all sides.
  3. Donuts are best served immediately. Leftovers keep well covered tightly at room temperature for up to 2 days.
